hours. He started to walk back and found the

rental guy approaching him. Once again, he got

the shaka sign. He returned the board, retrieved

his cash deposit and walked along the sand. He

liked Waikiki in spite of the endless blanket of

people on the sand. He liked the happy, relaxed

vibe.

“Don"t you ever learn anything?” he heard a

man roar. “How many times do I gotta tell ya,

nevah turn your back on the ocean, especially

when you"re fishing.” Romeo turned to look and

was surprised to see Kumi standing beside a

bigger, burlier version of himself.
